Visiting Hours
Our visiting hours are 3-4pm and 7-8pm daily with two visitors allowed at the bedside at one time.
We do encourage family members to visit their loved ones as regularly as possible, as this generally assists in their general care and road to rehabilitation. Family members are encouraged to take their loved one up to the roof garden (if mobile), as we feel that medical care works in correlation with general well-being.
By encouraging our patient’s to get out of bed and take some time under open skies and fresh air, we believe it is almost guaranteed to assist them further.
Due to the nature of our work, we regret to inform you that no under 12 year olds are allowed without special permission.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is sub-acute care?
Sub-acute facilities / care are comprehensive and cost-effective inpatient programmes for those who have suffered an acute event as a result of illness, injury or disease.
Why would you choose a sub-acute facility?
With a shortage of beds in a general acute hospital, sub-acute facilities alleviate the pressure on acute facilities by allowing movement of a patient to the sub-acute facility, thus avoiding a premature discharge.
Who would come to a sub-acute facility?
Sub-acute facilities care for many different types of patients but mainly would be those who have already been to an acute hospital for treatment.
